Courtney’s Movie Reviews: Che
August 6th, 2009![]() |
(2008) Directed by Steven Soderbergh I really wanted to know the story of Che but I couldn’t even make it thirty minutes into this lo budget thing which looks and feels like it’s only “pretty good” for a new style Mexican soap opera. |

I think you should give it another go Court…at least on dvd they’ve broken it into two films, not like at the theatre = 4.5 hrs is a long time with only a 15 min break. It does get interesting
A little better than Mexican soaps for sure
I had high hopes for this and it seems like nothing but a let down. Soderbergh can be so F###ing brilliant sometimes and such eckk too…
On the same subject you might check out The Motorcycle Diaries which is the story of how Ernesto Guevara became “Che”.
my father told me that was not too bad … we’ll see ! aha.
It was good until the part where the puppets of the gringa imperialist pigs executed comrade Che and lopped off his hands. Not even the drummer for Deaf Leopard could come back after that!
I recommend The Motorcycle Diaries too. Well acted, beautifully filmed, interesting story.
And actually Mr. Zero it is Def Leppard….
Jennifer mucho gusto and gracias too. My bad. You see in my country there are many deaf leopards as a result of the impoverished conditions in the jungle caused by the imperialists defoliation of the forest canopy to better search for my peoples army. The searing sun beating down on their exposed spots causes an imcurable case of deafness. It makes it f’n hotter too so I like to chill while listening to D-E-F L-E-P-P-AR-D.
No worries Mr. Zero. I did have a vision of lots of spotted jungle cats wearing little hearing aids
I felt asleep too….
