Lany says: Okay…so this was like the longest weekend. I think I was starting to have “Courtney’s movie review” withdrawls. I haven’t seen this movie either, but I love Robert DeNiro. I love when he plays a bad guy…like in “Cape Fear”. Like Vader, DeNiro is definitely another one of those dudes I would not want to piss off. He’s like the kind of guy that you wouldn’t wanna meet in a dark alley with any kind of grudge or weapon. I saw another movie with him as the psychotic bad guy….. ” The Fan.” He did so well in that movie that I think if it were real, and I crossed his path, I’d definitely run home cryin’ to my mama.
Lany says: Martine…I just wanted to say that I think the French language is just beautiful & romantic. Afterall, isn’t that where the french kiss originated from? Thank you for teaching me the word, “bisous”. I’m hooked on that word now. I’ve become a bisous addict, as you can probably tell from my e-mails. There’s just something about the language that makes me wanna walk around saying “bisous” to everyone in my path. However, I suppose I’ll demonstrate some self-control. ( lol ) I just wish our English sounded as beautiful when spoken, but since it doesn’t, I guess I’ll have to learn more French.
Courtney…speaking of car chases, I was wondering if you’d ever seen this movie…..I can’t remember for sure what the name of it was, but I think it was something like “Dirty Mary Crazy Larry”. I’m also not good with older actor’s names, but I think it starred Peter Fonda. ( if I’m wrong and anyone knows the real title / actor, please feel free to correct me). Anyway, this movie was absolutely crazy. The end of it blew my mind as it was so unexpected. It didn’t end the way most movies would. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone because of that reason.
