CTT Movie Reviews: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Spellbound

(2008) Don’t let the lame-ass “Something-ing Someone” title fool you, this flick is only about twelve lines shy of being the perfect gutbusting break up comedy of all time. |

(1945) This film is awesome, and as per usual with this era, it starts out slow and clunky, but as per usual with Hitchcock, once it gets going it REALLY gets going. |

Hi Courtney,
I used to work for Time Warner cable as a movie blurb writer and had to get everything down to 2 or 3 sentences at the very most. Eventually I realized they never proofed my work and I started writing stuff like, “Rambo blows stuff up for you in this feel-good movie of the year.” I was fired a year later.
this is one of the greatest Hitchcock movies, Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman are marvelous .. i adore ,,Great choice, thank you.
Sounds right up my alley. I love Hitchcock. What’s happened to movies lately? If it isn’t movies that are lame to begin with, it appears to be a bunch of botched attempts of reinvented classics. (Alice in Wonderland excluded ofcourse. That movie was pure genious.) I think the film industry needs a modern day boost with a touch of true classic twist.
