So what have we been up to for the past 6 weeks?
I’ll tell ya.
We played a sick ass show with The Rolling Stones in Portugal
Too bad Mick got sick and our other scheduled shows with them were canceled.
So instead we went to Barcelona for a three day vacation.
Did some gigs and festis in the UK – they all rocked (in the rain of course).
After this casual schedule of rockin’ and restin’
we headed for Greece for a proper island vacation.
Ya know the type, pool side reading and sea side eating.
It was great!
Gothman and The General Lee were new to the island.
Lee was seen scootering back and forth from the internet cafe
making sure business wasn’t held up by our vacation.
I’m sure Gothy will tell you all about his experience
but my favorite was seeing him with the reverse racoon-eye
sunburn from his shades.
Pete went on a strict two-greek-salad-a-day diet
and suntanned with Michele,
Courtney and Lockett explored the island by motorbike.
Fathead (with our friend Neener) did some pirate DJing
on the islands local radiostation,
and Travis and I chased Matilda around and tought her to swim
(well at least splash).
Our lovely soundguy Dylan did watch Matilda one night so Travis and
I could have a night out, what a sweety.
After Greece we headed to Mexico City to support the Strokes
and play for 18,000 mexican hipsters.
It was awesome!
We are now back at home but not done with the rock.
We of course have our two gigs with BJM coming up
and we just got two gigs with Tom Petty.
I know, I know, we need to make another album.
We will I promise, but who could turn down all these great offers
we’ve been getting to play with so many legends.
