Once More
October 19th, 2009Alright, this fuckin book A Fraction of the Whole is turning out to be the most amazing book I have ever read. Who is this fuggin guy? It is so micro detailed with style and deep meaning and experience that it would not surprise me to hear that it was actually a project involving like forty writers and then the single greatest editor in the history of the english language. Really! Who is this fuckin guy?
I am exactly as exasperated whilst reading it as I am by Oscar Wilde or PG Wodehouse. Or fuggin Shakespeare for that matter. But its modern. Its all that, and in the language I most understand.
Jesus. You gotta see this to believe it.

Wow Courtney….I haven’t gotten as excited over a book since, well, I can’t remember when. Unfortunately, my last few cracks at spontaniously buying books turned out to be a waste of time and money.( which is why I was seeking advice from you and Joe, as you both really seem to know your books inside and out). I love it when the writer has the natural ability to take one away in their writing. I also love deep thinkers as I love to analyze and am amazed when one can pose as a challenge. That is such a thrill. I believe you when you say this is a good book as you seem to be very deep yourself. Thank you again for the review.

I just ordered it on Amazon- I hope its good. I am always worried about when people prop something up like this (movie, book, etc)- and I get it…and I am like- ummm…yeah…

Best book I’ve read in a long while. Unique – funny, great and ironic plot twists and thought-provoking. Keep the recos coming! Really appreciate this tip – almost as much as a new Dandy Warhols record!
