Speaking of Primary…

It’s awesome…. Just got it off of iTunes, and will now give a 2nd, 3rd, and likely 4th listen on the drive from Tacoma to Seattle.

I was just thinking about The Cure’s version of Purple Haze for the Jimi Hendrix tribute from the early 90’s earlier this morning. Another great B-side Cure song is ‘Burn’ from The Crow Soundtrack.

There are some strange but great versions of Cure songs on this LP but the Dandy’s Primary, obviously, is the best. Great song by a great band from their greatest period covered by an even greater band !
Now… where’s that Tribute to “America” LP ?

Could the Dandy’s be any cooler! One of the best Cure cover I’ve ever heard. Primary is one of the best Cure songs anyways so it’s fitting that a great group cover a great song. Love ya Dandy’s. Keep up the awesome work!!!

I adore this Cure song, among my favourites and you guys really did a great take on it. Love it! Is there anything the Dandys cannot do?

I’ve never been a big Cure fan, but everything the Dandy’s touch is golden so their cover is (in my humble opinion) better than the origonal. Would love to hear it in concert, in PORTLAND. Having severe Dandy live withdrawals, and yes we know you all are home from touring and surely don’t have anything better to do than entertain the masses at the Roseland???
