PS. Are you excited about The Dandy Warhols Are Sound coming out in two weeks? I am. I was going back and forth comparing songs on Monkey House and Are Sound the other day and was knocked out by the difference. But not how like a crazy transvestite would knock you out with an iron in her purse, no. Like how when a little kid will sing you a song and give you a hug because that’s what little kids do. That kind of knocked out. On July 14, get a hug!

Very recently on you tube Ive found live versions of I am sound and We used to be friends from something called Jools Hollands Later from 2003 that are holy shit incredible sounding. I cant stop listening. Im thinking Are Sound versions will sound like those but who knows. This band has done nothing but amaze me for the last dozen years or so. Cannot fuckin wait..

We leave on a family road trip from Portland to Santa Cruz California on July 16, so timing is perfect for adding Are Sound to the entire Dandies collection we have and will be listening to mile after mile. Although I was pulled over for speeding a few weeks ago with one of the remix CDs blaring on the stereo…. (managed to talk my way out of that one)
