The Capitol Years 1995-2007, featuring fourteen classic rockers and one new tune (“This is the Tide”) from The Dandy Warhols, is now available for purchase. That is if your country does not start with “United” and ends with “America”, or is Canada. There’s always a catch.

I love you guys and your music and was wondering if I get this via legitimate means from some friends outside the US, do you still get the cash/profits? I was going to have a friend buy it in the UK and send it to me and wanted to make sure that the cash would still find its way to your hands or if I should just wait until domestic release. (crock of sh*t on the delay, just to be clear).

The International version is subtly different from the North American. EMI’s official title for the international release is ‘Best of The Capitol Years’. So the cover reflects this. Also, the cd face is a slightly different design; the international version has the ‘official’ Capitol Records logo with the oval around it, while the North American version has the vintage 1950s Johnny Mercer ‘Capitol – US. REG. PAT. OFF’ logo with no oval (like the one on ‘Come Down’). The North American version also has thin rings around the edges of the disc that the international version lacks. I hope these differences slipped through the EMI radar, I thought it was fun having to subtly different cd faces for the two different versions. Oh that Gothman…

I m so glad i will listen the all new song This is The Tide and also an other tresure from The Dandys, and a collector as you ar with Emo now , and also no download because the albums are art , i take pleasure watching all details of packaging designs photos …like Brent Deboer s Farmer… bla oh sorry i m so enthusiatic about everything these days , d-7 La Cigale yeah!

Both albums are the same, only the tiny art stuff I listed is different. And even that is minor.
I bet we’ll have them on sale at our gigs. I don’t know.

I do not see it in the new webstore layout, but that might not mean anything.
