You may know Bill Blass cuz he was the greatest fashion designer of all time. Never sat for a portrait without a cigarette. Designed four years of the Lincoln Continental. And now i found these. God I want to be this cool.
Welp, that concludes The Dandy Warhols world tour for Distortland. Now, you’d think a vacation or even a nap would be in order, but The Dandy Warhols are already back at The Odditorium recording new tunes; the remainder of 2017 will be a recording year.
We thank you, our friends and family, for coming out to visit with us over the past twelve months. Your continued enthusiastic endorsement of our artist endeavors means all the world to us. Only with friends like you is it possible to do what we do. There’s no way we can thank you other than getting back to work and give you more. Our sincere interminable love to you always.
Hey we’ve got a new single called “Thick Girls Knock Me Out (Richard Starkey)” – if you ask my opinion you should plunk down the $1.29 to buy it on iTunes, maybe we can get a pot of coffee outta the deal.
“Thick Girls” is also available on all the premium streaming services (Spotify, Google Play, Amazon, Apple Music, etc), just in case you need it even cheaper than $1.29. Nevertheless play it a lot, put it on repeat, those .004 cents checks really add up 😉
Star Wars
Lord of The Rings
The Good The Bad and The Ugly
Dr. Zhivago
Clockwork Orange
Apocalypse Now
Escape From New York
The Jerk
Spinal Tap
And maybe Groundhogs Day
I’m pretty sure these are the ten I’ve seen the most. I can certainly recite a lot of lines from them.
We’re playing this beautiful old movie house in San Luis Obispo. I wonder if Star Wars was parked in here for like three years when it came out.
