Oh man, I have a couple friends in town (from Savannah and Dallas) so of course I took em to see the world’s greatest John Denver impersonator.
Okay, now he’s got a mentally retarded Elvis impersonator. Not the first one of those I’ve seen btw.

Hey if any of yall are in London, here’s the band that Jacob and I mixed for the Adam and the Ants guys. They’re having some kinda party/gig at the 100 Club and should be pretty awesome. Here’s the link for it.

Saw Electric Six and the Ravonettes and Of Montreal. All were fuggin great live. I love this small art festival vibe. Great feeling of band comradery. We brought the E six here to watch these Portland legends rock one out.
Front row for Wild Flag.
Whoa. Rockstar.

The Calgary Tower. This festival we’re playing only has only bands with beards I think.
Glass floor around the rim of the tower
Weird.
Ok, so why was it again that we wanted a hurricane simulator at the top of the Calgary Tower?

(2008) I thought this animation was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen til the end when they do a clumsy switch to film and I suddenly felt like I just spent 90 minutes listening to a serial killer blame someone else. |
