The Dandy Warhols with the Oregon Symphony Thursday, May 21st at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The Dandys return to Portland to share the stage with their hometown orchestra for the first time ever, in a show featuring new favorites and classics from the band’s 25-year career. Tickets are on sale now.
Your returning champions THE DANDY WARHOLS wrap up their 25th Anniversary year with holiday shows this December in Vancouver (Wednesday December 4th), Seattle (Friday December 6th), and Portland (Saturday December 7th).
Date added: Shaky Knees Presents an evening with The Dandy Warhols, Friday, May 3rd at The Masquerade Hell in Atlanta. Late night show: 11pm! Tickets on sale Wednesday, March 13.
Celebrations for The Dandy Warhols’ 25th anniversary include a new album, ‘Why You So Crazy’ (Dine Alone Records), a single-shot 360° short film featuring Mad Men’s Jessica Paré for the single “Be Alright,” and a 2019 tour of Europe, the UK and North America, as well as exclusive goodies available via PledgeMusic. “The weirdest thing about it being our 25th anniversary is it doesn’t feel like 25 years. Feels like about six. Or five,” muses frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor.
Our annual all-ages Portland Christmas show — Big Gay Birthday Party in the Sky for Jesus — takes place Saturday, December 1st. For 2018, The Dandy Warhols team with Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in donating a portion of each ticket sold to SMYRC – Sexual and Gender Minority Youth Research Center – New Avenues for Youth.
NO SHOWS WHAT?
December 1st is also World AIDS Day. Join the Sisters later that night for a moving vigil through downtown Portland’s gay community spaces. More information on this vigil: FACEBOOK EVENT
