Thank You 2014
As 2014 bites it, we want to take a second here to give some heartfelt thanks.
Thanks to our home and road crew, who are all pros and the best in the business and without whom we literally couldn’t do what we do.
Thanks to our band and business management for keeping all the frequent flyer miles in order and making sure we have kombucha in the dressing room so we don’t cry.
Thanks to the venue crews, the people who make sure you have a fun, safe time seeing us live.
Thanks to all of the labels we work with for helping us sell records to a world that’s crammed with great records.

Ethos Music Center
‘Tis the season for giving. Every year we donate $1 from the sale of each ticket of our holiday show to a different deserving recipient. This year we’ve selected Ethos Music Center. Ethos is dedicated to the promotion of music and music-based education for youth in underserved communities. In a time when music/arts programs are mostly a memory in public schools, organizations like this are crucial to exposing and educating America’s youth.
We’re also honored to have Etho’s band, Death By Thumb perform at this year’s concert at Crystal Ballroom. Sat, Dec 20th.

The Dandy Warhols 2014 Holiday Events
Saturday, December 20th, join The Dandy Warhols and The Upsidedown for an all-ages holiday bash at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in downtown Portland. An annual holiday tradition, the theme for year’s shindig is “Pagan Christmas.”
Tickets are $20 (adv.) and go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 24th.
For every ticket sold to the December 20th show one dollar will be donated to the Ethos Music Center benefiting music education for students aged 2 and up.
Special overnight lodging is available at the Crystal Hotel that includes two tickets to the 12/20 show and breakfast the following morning $125-$180. Come to both events and stay Friday night at the Crystal Hotel or Edgefield and get a discount on the room. Contact Claudine Hemingway to make your lodging reservation.
For the third consecutive year The Dandy Warhols and McMenamins are teaming up to bring you a night of elegant revelry as our Holiday Dinner and Show returns Thursday, December 18th to McMenamins Edgefield.
Dine on Black Rabbit executive chef Chris Rattaro’s five course dinner menu with accompanying wines chosen by Courtney Taylor-Taylor. After dinner, let the warm rush envelope you with a chimerical silent film presentation with live score performed by The Dandy Warhols. This affair is for the smartest dressers and is strictly for ages twenty-one and over.
Tickets are $150 and are on sale this Friday, October 24th NOW!
McMenamins encourages guests to make a night or two of it and grab the special Dandy Warhols package that includes the Dinner with the Dandys for two, lodging, and breakfast the next morning $380 to $440, to make the reservation contact Claudine Hemingway.

Your Support Is Needed To Make History
Let’s make history together!
Frustratingly, measures to require GMO labeling narrowly failed in California and Washington. If Oregon fails we may never build up enough steam to get GMOs labeled in the United States, like 64 other countries already require.
This isn’t just an issue for Oregon, national support is needed! We’ve made doing your part simple. Just download our version of OHIO and $0.92 will go to the Yes On Measure 92 Campaign (you can also donate more with all extra going directly to the campaign). Make Oregon the first state to require GMO labeling and give other states a chance to follow suit.
Courtney & I will be performing this song at a local benefit this Sunday, October 12th. If the footage turns out we’ll share it with you as part of our victory celebration on Nov 4th!
