This was lots of fun. The first one “Flashman” was superior but that’s like getting a Ferrari and complaining about the glovebox. I’v got two more. I doubt they are in sequence but at this point who cares. These books are damned hard to find.

Well, it was fun while it lasted, eh? The Dandy Warhols’ performance at Taste of Randolph was cut short by Mother Nature Saturday night as promoters of the Chicago street festival pulled the plug after the heavens opened up and dumped both water and electricity in ridiculous amounts. You can’t have that! Dandys were bummed, and hope to return to Chicago soon.

The Dandy Warhols will appear at Parkenfestivalen in Bodø, Norway on 21st August, 2015. Apparently tickets have been sold out for a long while, so this is a note for posterity’s sake more than anything.

Peter G. Holmström knows how much Zia’s non profit Sun Cedar means to her, so he made her a gift of these stenciled trees to offer fans on her birthday. (Thanks Pete.)
Zia’s one birthday day request is that everyone who can, joins her Kickstarter campaign for Sun Cedar. Sun Cedar manufactures hand made, all-natural aromatic ornaments and gifts in a green shop staffed by ex-offenders and the homeless.
Zia believes whole heartedly in this project and would like for you to do the same. Hurry, it’s a very limited supply.
