Riders of the Purple Sage
Riders of the Purple Sage is awesome. I just got back to it and damn it’s good. His language is interesting and old fashioned enough to really take you far away. The story is fairly straight Clint Eastwood western style but has some details which I’ve never heard of in any western book or movie.
Anyhoo, get it, it’s great.

Plane Reads: The Silent Sea
This was just fine for about eight short plane flights. International politics and hi-tech weaponry. Some pretty silly dialogue, but it doesn’t get in the way as much as usually happens.
I think I bought it because it says “the Oregon Files.”
